Medical safety product maker Unilife Corp. said Thursday that former Wyeth executive Mary Kate Wold has joined its board of directors.
Wold, 57, joined the board on Tuesday. Unilife said she worked at Wyeth for seven years until the company was bought by Pfizer. She served as senior vice president of tax and treasury, and senior vice president of finance. Before that she worked at the law firm Shearman & Sterling for 17 years.
There are now six directors on Unilife's board. Wold will serve on its audit and strategic partnerships committees.
Shares rose 12 cents to $7 in afternoon trading.
