Ugandan doctor with Ebola treated in Germany
A Ugandan doctor who contracted Ebola while working in Sierra Leone has been flown to Germany for treatment.
Authorities in the central German state of Hesse say the doctor, who was not identified, had worked for an Italian aid group in West Africa when he became infected.
He was evacuated Friday to Frankfurt where he will be treated at the city's university hospital.
He is the second medical worker with Ebola to be treated in Germany. Another man who contracted the deadly disease was brought to Hamburg in August and is still alive.
