Recombinant Protein Expression Without IPTG

Overnight Express auto-induction systems allow users to regulate protein expression in E. coli without monitoring the culture or adding IPTG. Auto-induction media use differentially metabolized components to promote high-density cell growth and automatic induction from lac promoters. The systems often increase cell mass and target protein yield in comparison to traditional IPTG induction. With the addition of Overnight Express instant TB medium, three different formulations of complex or defined media are available. The complete, granulated medium dissolves readily in water and can be microwaved or autoclaved to prepare.
