The CaptairBio PCR Workstations from Erlab use a UV lamp, which allows the working environment to be decontaminated in order to prevent contamination of samples. The filtration of the sterile housing is controlled by a fan that draws in air from the laboratory and passes it through a HEPA H14 filter, which is more than 99.995% effective at trapping particles 0.1 microns and higher. The CaptairBio technology works with positive pressure airflow and has a flow rate of 183 to 235 CFM to ensure ISO 5 air quality standards within the enclosure. The air flow meter system allows air face velocity to be constantly monitored and indicates blockage of the HEPA H 14 filter and the energy ports located on the side panels of the enclosure offer convenience for the user. The ergonomic work surface is made of stainless steel, with an arm rest to provide a comfortable working position. Each fume hood is outfitted with energy efficient internal lighting. The CaptairBio line also includes the optional Mobicap rolling cart, which is equipped with an adjustable inner shelf, allowing the user space to work while seated. The cart is equipped with 4 wheels (2 locking wheels). The CaptairBio PCR Workstations come in a variety of sizes ranging from 32” to 71” and work with both HEPA and carbon filters.
