Anti-CD49b Antibody

Mon, 01/06/2024 - 6:03am
DX5 monoclonal antibody is used for the detection of NK cell in all strains of mice. Recent work has shown that the DX5 antibody binds to murine CD49b (α2 integrin chain). This molecule is a 160 kDa integral membrane protein, which forms a heterodimer with CD29 (β1 integrin). CD49b expression is known to play a part in binding to collagen or laminin. The proprietary anti-CD49b antibody will be of value in further studies on this antigen possibly to identify additional functions or ligands. The DX5 monoclonal is labeled with Biotin, FITC, and RPE. These reagents are known to perform well in antigen detection by flow cytometry.
