LISTED UNDER:
The AllSpin JS-5.3 rotor, for Beckman Coulter Avanti® J-E and J-20XP centrifuges, delivers a combination of speed and high throughput to meet the needs of cellular, protein and genetic analysis applications. It features a four-place design for sample handling, along with patented SR (Switch Reluctance) drive technology for fast acceleration and deceleration. The rotor can reach forces of 6,130 × g and has nine adapters for a range of sample tubes and bottles. For cellular analysis, the rotor separates cells, cell membranes, tissue homogenates and blood cell components in conical tubes with volumes up to 2 L (4 × 500 ml). For genetic analysis, it spins up to twenty-four 96-well plates (4 × 6 plates). For protein analysis, the rotor spins up to seventy-two (4 × 18 place) 15 ml tubes or up to 28 (4 × 7 place) 50 ml tubes.
