Plasmid DNA Purification

Mon, 01/06/2024 - 6:01am
The Perfectprep® Plasmid 96 Vac utilizes an in-house vacuum system or vacuum pump and incorporates a modified alkaline lysis and optimized DNA-binding matrix to purify plasmid DNA in a 96-well format. Vacuum filtration is used to produce a plasmid-containing cleared lysate from which the DNA is isolated. Single- or four-plate vacuum manifolds purify up to 384 sequence-ready plasmids. The elution volume is constant at roughly 70 μl. The concentration of plasmid per volume unit of eluate is reproducible and can be used directly in a sequencing reaction.
