Web Tool For SNP Analysis
Mon, 01/06/2024 - 6:03am
ChromosomeBrowser is an interactive web-based SNP genotyping tool that simplifies the SNP mining process and allows scientists to convert other genetic markers to SNP applications. It enables the analysis of raw output from SNP experiments to identify potential markers, to compare sequence data to determine an accurate match, and to search for key markers to identify genetic correlations. Interactive features include a proprietary database, intuitive navigation with unlimited zoom, customized view of map objects, and hyperlinks from map to public databases. The proprietary database content includes more than 2,500,000 mapped SNPs; 100,000 SNPs not available in public databases; 600,000 primer designed SNPs; and 250,000 measured allele frequencies. Result output includes SNP functional class, genomic DNA sequence, chromosome position, validation sequence, allele frequency and mutation type.
