Centra-CL5 multipurpose series centrifuges offer both high-speedand high-volume versatility, along with an assortment of rotor options. Ventilated and refrigerated models accommodate various tubes for life science, pathology and research applications with a maximum speed of 15,000 rpm or 21,000 ×g. High-speed, sealed angle rotors or high volume swing-out rotors provide versatility, and sealed Aerocarrier™ adapters provide aerosol containment. Maintenance-free, induction drive, brushless motor results operates quietly, and the programmable microprocessor control panel stores up to 98 programs. The large, easy-to-read digital displays show speed (rpm or rcf), run time, temperature (refrigerated model only), acceleration rate, and program number. There is a hold setting, and the exceptional safety features include a cover interlock, rotor recognition, and imbalance detection. The Centra CL5 series conforms to ISO 9001 and IEC 1010-2-020 standards. It is CFC-free, CSA-certified, and CE-marked.
