Multi-Detection Readers

The Tecan family of multi-detection readers has expanded with the addition of the GENios Plus. Based on the original GENios readers, the GENios Plus adds enhanced fluorescence sensitivity through high-quality quartz fibers, UV fluorescence and the ability to read up to 1536-well plates. Both readers are engineered for DNA/RNA quantitation, gene expression, transfection studies, ELISA and kinetic assays, and more. For cell-based assays, these readers can detect multiple labels per well and switch easily from top to bottom reading with just a single mouse click. The original GENios handles plate formats from 6-384 wells and both systems can handle PCR tubes and cuvettes. Both instruments are fully robotics compatible, and each comes with a unique filter set as well as XFLUOR, Excel-based data software.
