ATP-Dependent DNase

Plasmid-Safe™ ATP-Dependent DNase selectively digests contaminating chromosomal DNA, which is not effectively removed from plasmid preps by columns or resins. The result is cleaner plasmid preps, a greatly reduced chance of cloning E. coli DNA fragments, improved cloning efficiency, and lower backgrounds. It has no activity against supercoiled, nicked or closed-circular DNA.
