Genomic Arrays, Detection System

Tue, 04/08/2024 - 9:53am
The MGX 4D array is based on patented Flow-thru™ technology, which utilizes a porous substrate constructed of microchannels. Oligonucleotide probes are spotted and bound all along the inner surface of the channels. Hybridization occurs aided by a microfluidics hybridization station (the MGX2000). Detection of hybridization is by chemiluminescence using a CCD camera based detector (the MGX1200CL) that includes the Metrisoft™ proprietary image capture and analysis program. This integrated, complete system for gene expression analysis is automated, user-friendly and cost effective and is combined with unique genomic content. Low to medium density arrays analyze gene expression of specific diseases and pathways. Flow-thru design optimizes surface area-to-volume ratio. Hybridization times are fast, and there is a reduction in the volume of reagents and labeled target required for analyses. Uniform spot size and spot morphology is provided by well-organized microchannels, as is reliable and reproducible data. Gene expression arrays are offered for lung, breast and colon cancer; inflammation, proliferation, beta amyloid, and a universal array for SNP and genotyping analysis. A Custom Array program is also offered
