Microarray Reagent Systems

Corning Incorporated, Life Sciences has introduced Pronto!™ cDNA and Universal Microarray Reagent Systems for printing and hybridizing cDNA and long oligonucleotide arrays. The systems offer a complete microarray solution from printing through hybridization. Pronto! reagents are optimized for use with Corning UltraGAPS™ slides and produce highly reproducible results with interslide CVs of 10% or less. The consistency of results enables researchers to compare data between experiments and between slides. A new, proprietary spotting solution offers low evaporation rates and consistent spotting performance during extended print runs. Sensitivity of the Universal System approaches 0.25 pg per 5 μg of input total RNA, or one to two copies per 500,000 cells.
