Microarray Slides
Tue, 04/08/2024 - 9:53am
Vivid microarray slides are constructed of a glass base with a membrane printing area. Unique membrane construction offers increased surface area and low background. Use of membrane slides as a microarray substrate facilitates high binding and simple immobilization methods. The slides offer high signal to noise ratios and facilitate short imaging times with no need for specialized cross-linking reagents. High signal levels can be generated using radioactive 33P, chemiluminescent, chemifluorescent or direct fluorescent detection systems. Two color detection is also possible using either direct fluorescence or color-forming substrates. Due to the high binding characteristics of the membrane printing area, reduced amounts of mRNA are required.
