Plate Handling And Sealing Module (881)

The PlateServer™ module provides automated plate management for assay systems used in drug discovery applications. It performs all operations within an inert environment, maximizing compound integrity and extending compound library life. It automatically receives, thaws and unseals microtiter plates and delivers them to another automation device, such as a liquid handling platform. Once the plates have been processed, PlateServer retrieves the plates and reseals them with the same seal. Twelve sealing and unsealing locations run simultaneously, providing a sequential plate retrieval rate of up to four plates per minute.
