MagneHis™ Protein Purification System provides a simple method for the purification of polyhistidine-tagged, expressed proteins. It offers scalability and versatility with protocols for both manual and automated platforms. Paramagnetic, precharged nickel particles (MagneHis™ Ni-Particles) are used to isolate His-tagged protein directly from a crude cell lysate using either a manual or automated procedure. The system has a binding capacity of 1 mg of 6× His-tagged protein per 1 ml of Ni-Particles, requires no long incubations for cell lysis, and is scalable from 1 ml to 1 liter.
