Small Protein Analysis Assay

The Protein 50 LabChip® kit, from Agilent Technologies Incorporated and Caliper Technologies Corporation, automates the sizing and quantitation of proteins ranging in size from 5 to 50 kilo Daltons. Used together with the Agilent 2100 bioanalyzer, the Protein 50 LabChip kit, featuring Caliper's LabChip technology, enables the automated analysis of 10 protein samples in less than a half hour. Protein size, relative or absolute concentration and purity are extracted from the real-time digital data, which is displayed in exportable gel-like image, electropherogram and tabular formats. Reduced analysis times, combined with reliable and reproducible results provide researchers the support needed to succeed in disease identification and drug discovery.
