Refrigerated Centrifuge

NAPCO 2028R refrigerated centrifuge handles a variety of applications, including cell harvesting and culture refreshment, utilizing a 4 × 280 ml swinging bucket rotor and assorted fixed angle rotors. The instrument can accommodate a capacity of twenty, 15 ml conical tubes at 3,000 × g. A fixed angle rotor spins six 50 ml conical tubes at over 12,500 × g. Sealed microtiter plate carriers and cyto-centrifugation accessories are offered. A rapid exchange system lets rotors glide easily into position on the drive shaft and lock automatically, without the use of nuts and wrenches. Complete rotor exchanges can be completed in less than 5 seconds. Safety features include automatic imbalance detection, an armored chamber and advanced lid interlock. Sealed accessories are certified aerosol-tight by CAMR-Porton Down. Powerful CFC free refrigeration (holding +4 C at full speed) protects heat labile samples, while variable acceleration and deceleration rates protect fragile samples and maximize separation quality.
