Refrigerated, High Capacity Centrifuge

The Jouan KR4i processes large numbers of tubes, microtitration plates and columns at forces exceeding 5,000 × g. The maintenance-free induction drive motor that produces these forces is quiet and reliable. Advanced digital system precisely controls centrifugation results. First, the centrifuge calculates the total separating force (g-time) applied to samples during a model run. The instrument can be controlled to this value, allowing a constant stream of nearly identical results. These results can be transferred electronically to Jouan's proprietary data acquisition system for documentation purposes.
