Protein-Protein Interaction Screening (9499)

Tue, 01/16/2007 - 7:34am

Customized yeast two-hybrid screening allows quick identification of novel binding partners for membrane or soluble proteins. The genetic screening system for integral membrane proteins is offered for use by researchers who perform the entire yeast two-hybrid screen. Simply supply the cDNA or protein of interest (bait) and either select a cDNA library from the company’s collection or have one made. Complete bait plasmid preparation and testing, high-efficiency library transformation and screening, and in-depth analysis of positive clones is provided. A flexible service structure adapts to specific needs, and milestone reports ensure complete control over the screening process. Once a project is complete, the user receives plasmid DNA of the bait construct and all positive prey clones, a detailed report containing explanations and data for every screening step, and a complete analysis of all sequences (reading frame determination and BLAST analysis).
