Coated Cell Culture Flasks

These Cell Culture Flasks are pre-coated with either Poly D-Lysine or Collagen I. The uniform application of the surface treatments facilitates reproducible cell culture performance by enhancing cell attachment, growth and differentiation in serum-free and serum-containing media. Angled neck design enables easy access to the entire growth surface with pipettes or cell scrapers. The neck allows complete drainage of the flask and prevents the contents from splashing into the neck when stacked horizontally. A one-third turn of the cap closes the flask. “Y” vent closures are offered, or alternately, filter caps for continuous gas exchange during cell growth. Volume graduations are printed and molded on both sides of the flask. Stable at room temperature, the flasks may be stored without refrigeration. They are certified to be sterile and non-pyrogenic, and are tested for both monolayer formation and cloning efficiency for primary cells and continuous cell lines.
