Glove Boxes

Precise Basic Glove Boxes allow customization through a choice of over 60 different accessories to meet specific applications. The unit is constructed of a one-piece molded, medium-density polyethylene shell with a black, chemical-resistant work surface sealed to the glove box floor; a viewing window of 1/4 thick laminated safety glass and space-saving inner and outer transfer chamber doors that pivot upward, are counterbalanced and equipped with quick-latches and a pressure relief valve. The boxes are factory leak-tested with a mass spectrometer while pressurized with helium at 5 inches of water gauge. No leaks greater than 1 × 10^-4 ml/sec were detected. The 13 cu/ft interior of the main chamber meets Class 1 atmosphere conditions for leak rate per ISO 10648-2 test methods.
