Chemiluminescent Imaging Of Gene Expression

The FireFly Imaging System is used with proprietary quantitative nuclease protection assay kits for direct measurement of gene expression on multiple targets simultaneously in a range of sample types including formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissues without the need for extraction or amplification. Researchers can choose from a menu of arrays in areas such as toxicology, cardiology, oncology, inflammation and apoptosis. The system features a CCD camera that can image multiple targets for an entire 96-well plate in about 15 minutes.
