Wireless Neural Stimulation

Wed, 05/06/2024 - 4:21pm

Triangle BioSystems International (TBSI) presents two dual-channel wireless neural stimulation headstage systems that allow researchers to generate and upload two, separately customizable waveform patterns via a USB dongle receiver.

Key features of wireless stimulation:
• Headstages for both electrical and optogenetic stimulation
• Wide effective range, up to 5 meters
• 16 channel stimulation accessory is available for electrical stimulation
• Implantable blue LED optrodes available with 4mm and 8mm electrode depth
• StimWare software to control pattern timing, brightness or constant current levels

Both the electrical stimulation system and the opto-genetic stimulation system utilize a small headstage unit that can be quickly and easily mounted on an animal's head and, depending on the programmed signal frequency and amplitude, can provide up to two weeks of wireless stimulation.

Wireless stimulation headstages (S-Series) can be used concurrently with the TBSI wireless (W-Series), tethered (T-Series) or multiplexed (M-Series) neural recording headstages for combination stimulation and recording experiments.

TBSI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvard Bioscience, Inc. Harvard Bioscience is a global developer, manufacturer, and distributor of innovative and specialized products to enhance bioresearch.
