NEXTflex-HT™ Barcodes

The NEXTflex-HT™ Barcodes are single-index barcodes added during the ligation step of library prep, which offer deep multiplexing for both paired-end and single-read Illumina sequencing. Each barcode contains a unique 12 nt index sequence with a Hamming Distance of five or greater, permitting dual error correction to enable proper differentiation between samples. Currently 384 barcodes are available; however, > 2,000 are being developed. Additionally, each pair of consecutive barcodes is suitable for low level multiplexing.

NextPrep-Mag™ cfDNA Isolation Kit

The NextPrep-Mag™ cfDNA Isolation Kit is an automation-friendly, magnetic bead-based kit designed to extract DNA from cell free biological fluids such as blood plasma, using a magnetic bead format. The rapid procedure can be completed in only 30 minutes and does not require a vacuum manifold. Using the kit, sufficient cfDNA is recovered from 0.6 mL – 4 mL of plasma to allow robust production of DNA-Seq libraries, even from the relatively low amounts of cfDNA present in plasma. The cfDNA isolated using this kit can be used for applications including studies of circulating fetal DNA and cancer diagnostic-related liquid biopsy studies, using methods such as PCR and next generation sequencing.

NEXTflex™ Pre-Capture Combo Kit

The NEXTflex™ Pre-Capture Combo Kit is available with 96 barcodes for multiplexing both upstream and downstream of target capture, decreasing cost and effort relative to whole-genome sequencing or singleplex target capture. The kit is compatible with the Roche NimbleGen® SeqCap EZ Library capture systems for targeted exome sequencing on Illumina® MiSeq, GAIIx and HiSeq platforms. The kit features Enhanced Adapter Ligation Technology, offering improved ligation efficiency and resulting in library preps with a larger number of unique sequencing reads. In addition to the unique 96 barcodes, Bioo Scientific provides ready-to-use DNA Barcode Blockers for target capture.

NEXTflex™ Rapid Directional RNA-Seq Kit

The NEXTflex™ Rapid Directional RNA-Seq Kit provides an easy and flexible dUTP-based solution for generating single read, paired-end and multiplexed stranded libraries from mRNA or rRNA depleted total RNA. This kit can be used to obtain "stranded" information which identifies the specific DNA strands a given RNA transcript was derived from with >99% strand specificity. Automation protocols are available for the Sciclone Workstations to offer researchers a substantial increase in productivity with consistent quality.

NEXTflex™ Bisulfite-Seq Kit

The NEXTflex™ Bisulfite-Seq Kit simplifies the library preparation of bisulfite-treated DNA with reduced representation or total bisulfite-converted DNA libraries. The kit is compatible with single, paired-end and multiplexed DNA NGS libraries on Illumina® sequencing platforms. “Enhanced Adapter Ligation Technology” is incorporated into the kit, offering improved ligation efficiency and resulting in library preps with a larger number of unique sequencing reads. For multiplexing, up to 24 unique, single-index methylated NEXTflex™ Bisulfite-Seq Barcodes can be purchased separately.
