Wellness-program provider Healthways Inc. said Thursday that Chief Financial Officer Mary Chaput will retire at the end of 2010.
Chaput will work with the company throughout 2011 to assist with transition, Healthways said. Chaput has been the company's CFO since October 2001. The new CFO of Healthways will be Alfred Lumsdaine, who has been the company's controller and chief accounting officer since 2002.
Shares of Healthways set an annual low of $9.50 intraday, but closed up 21 cents, or 2.2 percent, at $9.96 Thursday. In aftermarket trading following the personnel announcement, the stock fell 21 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $9.75.
