Apple Unveils New Digital Health Program Called Research Kit

Apple unveiled a new mobile health program today called Research Kit.
Apple teamed up with a variety of medical institutions like UCLA, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Massachussets General Hospital, University of Rochester, and Xuanwu Hospital. This is new software intended for medical research.
UCLA and Dana-Farber are working on a tool to assist with breast cancer research, Mass General’s app measures glucose levels. University of Rochester and Xuanwu Hospital made an application for Parkinson’s capable of measuring voice or hand tremors.
Five apps will be part of this offering, which are available today. Apple assured the audience that all of the data would be safe and secure.Developing.
