Endonuclease for Purification of Biological Molecules
LISTED UNDER:
DENARASE endonuclease from Sartorius Stedim Biotech is a genetically engineered endonuclease from Serratia marcescens and used in purification processes of biological molecules.
Because of its high activity and ease of use, DENARASE is often utilized in production of viruses and virus-like particles. The enzyme can be added to the cell lysate to rapidly reduce the large amounts of host-DNA and decrease viscosity, thereby rendering the subsequent unit operations like column chromatography and membrane filtration much more economical.
DENARASE is produced under cGMP conditions and exclusively licensed to Sartorius Stedim Biotech by c-LEcta. Its production is based on recombinant expression in Bacillus sp. production bacterium strain and is free of animal-derived compounds.
