Remote Terminal to Control Chilling & Heating Dry Baths

Wed, 12/17/2014 - 5:03pm

The MIC20 is used to configure and monitor the RIC20 or RHB20 remotely without using an external computer. The RIC20 and RHB20 are compact, remotely controlled units designed for use on robotic decks for controlling the temperature of samples in various containers from assay plates to centrifuge tubes from -20°C to 120°C.

Connect the MIC20 to any one of these units to set and display temperature and timer, collect current set point or temperature, set or clear an idle mode, or calibrate the units using the RS232 cable provided with the MIC20. The MIC20 can be disconnected from one unit and used to set another unit while the prior unit proceeds to do as it was instructed.

The MIC20 is compact measuring 4.0” (102 mm) x 5.0” (127 mm) x 2.5” (63.5 mm) and weighing under a pound. It has a backlit two-line alphanumeric display and keypad for setting and displaying all parameters of the RHB20 and RIC20.

It is battery operated with a battery life of over 230 hours of continuous use. An external power supply is available as an accessory. It is supplied with an RS232 cable, user’s manual, and 6-AA batteries.

The EchoTherm™ MIC20 is UL, CSA, and CE compliant.
