Wireless, Battery-less Limit Switches

Steute Industrial Controls offers a comprehensive line of wireless, battery-less limit switches. These wireless limit switches feature an internal electrodynamic energy generator, that require no battery. Displacement of the actuator generates power to send a uniquely coded signal to one or more compatible, easily-programmed receivers. If the limit switch does not receive the confirmation signal within 15ms, it transmits a second signal. The receiver accepts up to 10 discrete signals per channel. The unit is available for operation at 915 MHz (USA/Canada/Australia) or 868 MHz (Europe). The maximum transmission range is 40 m indoors to 450 m outdoors. It features bidirectional communications with receiver confirming receipt of signal. The limit switch signal is configurable at receiver (e.g. NO, NC, other). The mechanical life expectancy is > 1 million actuations.
The operating temperature range is -20 C to 65 C. There are a variety of actuator styles including. roller plunger, roller lever, rocker lever, spring rod, and others.
