Sample Evaporators and Microplate Products for LC/MS

To facilitate better analysis of very dilute samples by LC/MS, Porvair Sciences nitrogen blowdown evaporators can assist by evaporating solvent to increase concentration thereby increasing sensitivity.

In applications where serum or plasma samples have been de-proteinated using a protein precipitation microplate, such as the Porvair P3 plate, the sample is typically left in acetonitrile. Porvair evaporators provide a quick and easy-to-use method of removing the acetonitrile before reconstituting the dried sample in a solvent system more suitable for LC/MS.

Recently introduced, Porvair Sciences Ultravap Levante nitrogen blowdown evaporator offers rapid programmable dry down of LC/MS samples dissolved in solvents such as acetonitrile, dichloromethane and methanol.
