Software Company Tests New Biometric Tattoos

Chaotic Moon, a software design and development firm, is working on a new series of biometric tattoos that have potential application for the military and medical fields.

The tattoos, called “Tech Tats,” made by the Austin, Texas-based company are still in the prototype stage, but a report from TechCrunch lists some of the product’s possible features.

Features will include the ability to monitor body temperature and sense if someone is stressed through sweat and heart rate data, according to the publication. The tattoos will be temporary and easily washable.

Chaotic Moon’s chief executive officer Ben Lamm told TechCrunch he views these tattoos as the future of wearables.
