Quantitative Multiplex Analysis of Low-level Cytokine Expression: MILLIPLEX® map Human High Sensitivity T Cell Panel

Cytokines are polypeptides that regulate adaptive and innate immune responses. Their role in normal inflammatory response and immune cell development and activation drives involvement in a variety of diseases, often at low levels. Our MILLIPLEX® MAP Human High Sensitivity T Cell Panel, utilizing Luminex xMAP® technology, is a multiplexed assay kit for detecting multiple cytokines. This application note summarizes the development, analytical validation, and test results generated by our research team during the development process. We also present data from collaboration with Drs. Barbara Nikolajczyk and Min Zhu of Boston University School of Medicine studying the association between obesity and inflammation.
