Living Image Software 3D Analysis Package enables visualization, tracking and understanding of biological processes in living animals, non-invasively and in real time. Included tools enable scientists to accurately locate in three dimensions and quantify the signal strength of bioluminescent reporters, or glowing "tags" that light up targeted biological processes in living animals. The software introduces a 3D analysis method called DLIT that determines the location, size and brightness of the bioluminescent reporters, creating a spatially accurate image. DLIT processing takes place in two steps. With this software, the IVIS Imaging System 200 can generate single-view 3D mouse images.
